Poverty Impact Assessment in Green Economy projects in Kenya and South-Africa

GIZ is participating in development partnerships with the private sector in Kenya and South-Africa.

In order to measure the impact of the partnership activities with respect to poverty reduction, Global21 carries out Poverty Impact Assessments in the Green Economy-projects :.

  • Substitution of carbon by biomass in rural households (South-Africa
  • E-waste Recycling (South-Africa)
  • Coprocessing of used tyres in cement kilns (Kenya)

 

The results have been used for developing sector guidelines for PPP in the Green Economy sector.
