Assessment of biodiversity policy in the Western Balkans
Policy analysis and assessment of EU accession performance
On behalf of the Open Regional Funds Biodiversity, Global21 carries out an assessment of the biodiversity policy in the Western Balkans.
The study comprises:
- Assessment of existing national and regional biodiversity policy framework regarding:
- Institutional setting
- Strategic and regulatory framework
- Financial framework
- Monitoring and reporting capacity
- Performance regarding EU-accession (Chapter 27, EU-Biodiversity-Strategy, etc.)
- Recommendations for regional cooperation to implement EU Biodiversity Strategy 2020
- Proposals for priority activities to strengthen national and regional capacities
